I had an unpleasant experience during my stay. I needed a pack of antibiotics prescribed by my local dentist, and when I asked the hotel staff (the ladies booking the à la carte restaurants) where the nearest pharmacy was, they offered to have the medicine delivered within 10 minutes. They told me delivery was free and the cost would be around $20. However, when the delivery person arrived and I paid by card, I was charged $140. When I asked for a refund, they tried to convince me that the medicine was “high quality” and worth that price. I insisted on a cancellation, which they finally did, but only after I paid a $10 delivery fee. My dentist later confirmed that the medicine couldn’t possibly cost that much — it was clearly a scam. Very disappointing experience. I won’t be coming back to this hotel and wouldn’t recommend it to others.
