I arrived at the hotel lately with my family because the ferry from Denmark arrived in Kristiansand right after midnight a week ago. Upon checking-in to the hotel, I parked my car on the street very nearby the hotel as per the reception's guidance at that time and that was around 1 AM. I found out that same day around 7:50 AM in the morning when my license plates from my car were ripped off and stolen and we drove all the way from The Netherlands to get there. As per the reception's poor guidance of parking at the right locations, I had to file a report at the local police reporting the incident that day and to get temporary license plates locally as well as paying a lot of costs for them and spending many hours that day to get these things done. This is the first time ever where I would lose such valuable items (license plates in this case) from my car while staying at a hotel. Had the reception been more thoughtful and guided me to the right parking locations with more security/safety as if they treated me like their own family, this would have never happened.
